Dr. Brian Courtney is an interventional cardiologist and clinician scientist at the Schulich Heart Center at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at University of Toronto. He is the founder and CEO of Conavi Medical (formerly Colibri Technologies). He has been actively involved in the development of new medical technologies for the past 15 years. Along with Drs. Bradley Strauss and Graham Wright, Brian is a co-director of the Schulich Innovation Program and is the Program Director of the recently launched Medventions Program, Sunnybrook's streamlined entrepreneurial training approach focused on nurturing medtech expertise.
