TECNIOspring PLUS is a mobility programme co-funded by the European Union (H2020 – Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions), which aims to foster the mobility of experienced researchers. The programme is managed by ACCIÓ, Catalonia Trade & Investment Agency, attached to the Government of Catalonia. TECNIOspring PLUS offers 2-year employment contracts to experienced researchers in order to develop an applied research project with focus on technology transfer. Worldwide researchers may join anyCatalan company or technological centre accredited with the TECNIO recognition during 2 years (Incoming fellowship). National and international research centres and R&D departments of private companies worldwide can also welcome a fellow during the 1st year, followed by a return phase to a Catalan company or a TECNIO centre during the 2nd year (Outgoing +Return fellowship). The programme has already granted more than 60 participants on the previous calls and applications from women are encouraged. UNILATERAL NUCLIS NUCLIS, the Call for Industrial Research and Experimental Development Funding in Catalonia, will be launched towards the beginning of June 2017 (see attached for more information). Nuclis grants are available for TRL3 to TRL7, and finance R&D projects to obtain prototypes and demonstrations of new products, processes, technologies. The aim is to promote R&D partnership projects between Catalan & Canadian firms and institutions. Project’s minimum budget: 150,000 euros. Direct and non-refundable grant of up to 200,000 euros. Grant intensity: up to 25-50%, depending on the company’s size and the nature of its activities. Nuclis grants are complementary to various Canadian grants and subsidies, including NRC-IRAP. I invite you to forward this email to companies, researchers and research centres who might be interested in participating. If a Canadian company or research centre is interested in participating but has not yet identified a potential Catalan partner, whether it be for TecnioSpring or Nuclis, please let me know and we can help identify the right partner. Looking forward to collaborating with you very soon! Best regards, Geneviève Abbott Executive Director, Catalonia Trade & Investment Office
